SPOTLIGHT: Roscoe’s Fishing AdventureRoscoe Fishing for Tourism

Come out and participate in Dow Park Pool’s 6th Annual Winter Fishing event in our public pool! Partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Parks and Recreation Department will stock the Dow Park Pool for you to fish out on January 24-25. Fishing poles will be provided - first come, first serve!

Admission is free, but registration is required. Please register at the Deer Park Community Center, over the phone or online. Registration opens in November.

Deer Park Public Library Tie Dye T-Shirts Craft


Join the Deer Park Public Library for craft time! Materials to assemble crafts will be provided to children free of charge. A craft to accommodate children ages 5 to 8 and ages 9 to 12 will be available. 

  • February 11th @ 3:30 pm - Valentine’s Day Craft
  • March 17th @ 3:30 pm - Happy St. Patrick’s Day Craft
  • April 21st @ 3:30 pm - Earth Day Craft
  • May 5th @ 3:30 pm - Mother’s Day Craft
