Conflict of Interest Questionnaires must be filed with the City Secretary as established by the Texas Legislature through House Bill 914 in the 2005 legislative session which has been codified under Chapter 176 of the Local Government Code.
According to this legislation, all vendors and other persons contracting or seeking to contract for the sale or purchase of property, goods or services with a local governmental entity must file a conflict of interest questionnaire with the City Secretary's Office. The form was created by the Texas Ethics Commission and can be found on their website.
